The Equicure Electrolytes Replenishment is an
injector providing fast recuperation of the horse
during and after exertion.
Its composition gives fast mineral salts replenishment
to counterbalance the mineral deficiencies caused
by exertion and/or to give back a "fillip" to
the horse.
Its formulation is based on products made from
the transformation of plants selected for their
electrolytic contribution, such as valerian, chamomile
or yellow jasmine.
When should
the Equicure Electrolytes Replenishment be used?
Electrolytes Replenishment is used in the following
situations: :

During exercise, competition, work or all
other activity causing sweating and requiring
an instantaneous electrolytes replenishment
and fast energy renewal - enabling the horse
to continue the activity in good condition.

After exertion resulting in sweating (work,
race, transportation, …) requiring a fast
recuperation in electrolytes.

Exertion
and Sweating
 When
a horse work hardly, its body temperature
is regulated by the sweat. Sweating
helps the horse lose heat. By sweating,
the horses lose water but also salts
called electrolytes... Those water
and salts lost have to be replaced
for optimal health, performance and
recovery.
Sweat and salts lost
quantities depend on the exertion
and specially its duration and its
intensity.
Exemples for a
horse (500 kg):
2,5 l of sweat
during a 30 minutes race (8 km/h).
5 l of sweat during
a 90 minutes race (20 km/h).

How
should the Equicure Electrolyte Replenishment
be used ?
- Place the injector at the corner of
the animal's mouth and press the piston
to empty its content.
- The recommended doses are :
- Horses : 1 / 2 to 1 injector
- Ponies - foals: 1/ 2 an injector
